Terms of Use

These terms describe the conditions for using BenchLine Lab Utility as a laboratory calculation support tool.

Use of the App

BenchLine is provided as a laboratory utility for deterministic bench calculations, including dilution planning, molarity calculations, buffer preparation, reagent preparation, unit conversion, and RPM/RCF conversion.

Users are responsible for reviewing all outputs before use and for complying with applicable SOPs, laboratory safety rules, instrument documentation, reagent documentation, and legal or regulatory requirements.

No Medical Use

BenchLine is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. BenchLine is not intended for clinical diagnosis, treatment decisions, patient management, medication dosing, or regulated medical-device use.

Local Data

BenchLine stores presets, history, settings, and active session state locally on the device. Users are responsible for deciding what information they enter into the app. Do not enter patient data, confidential sample identifiers, proprietary protocol text, or sensitive information unless your organization permits it.

No Warranty

BenchLine is provided without warranty. Calculations are intended to be transparent and deterministic, but all outputs must be independently checked before use.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for losses, damages, failed experiments, regulatory issues, laboratory incidents, or other consequences arising from use of the app or reliance on calculation outputs.

Changes

These terms may be updated as BenchLine evolves. Continued use of BenchLine after updates means you accept the updated terms that apply at that time.
